Install A Gas Fireplace

Do you have a wood burning fireplace? Are you tired of all the work and the dirt lugging in all that wood? Give yourself a GREAT Christmas gift by installing a gas fireplace.

Bodek Holiday Gas Fireplace

Why would you pick a gas fireplace over a wood fireplace? Convenience, of course. Started a fire in a gas fireplace is as easy as flipping a switch. Instantaneous fire. While, wood-fueled fireplaces require a lot more effort to get going. First you have to get the wood. Do you even have dry wood available to you? You have to purchase (or cut it yourself) and store it somewhere. Then you have to arrange it a certain way, get kindling, start the fire and then maintain it. Starting, and maintaining, a wood-fueled fire takes talent and patience. It's great if you want the satisfaction of building something, but if you’re cold or just want a fireplace to look at, choose gas.

Gas fireplaces are as easy to maintain as they are to operate. No messy cleanup and no sweeping are necessary, though you might want to have a professional look at it every once in a while. We recommend that this maintenence is scheduled when you have your annual furnace service.

Fireplaces are a selling point for new home buyers, too. This is true regardless of whether they’ll be used or not. People like the look. And who doesn't love options?! With our harsh Upstate NY winters, a fireplace is more of a necessity than an option. We all daydream about curling up in front of a warm, toasty flame.
